Samson?s unique 2-In-1 construction results in an extremely strong line that, when combined with the sophisticated appearance of double braid, results in a line that offers the best anchoring protection for your boating investment as well as showing the attention to detail your vessel deserves. Samson 2-In-1 Super Strong is actually two ropes in one. The braided core is constructed of high tenacity nylon fiber treated with Pro-Gard marine finish, which maximizes wet wear life and strength, then a second rope or cover of the same high tenacity nylon is braided over it. Both ropes then act a single integrated member. In addition, Samson 2-In-1 is made using the unique Parallay construction, a twisting and braiding process that aligns the fibers parallel to the running axis of the rope, ensuring a firm but flexible rope that has maximum abrasion resistance, will not shrink or harden during service, and maintains full performance flexibility for handling. Each anchor line includes a spliced eye with a captive thimble in one end. The SOS thimble is constructed of a high strength synthetic black plastic that will not rust or chafe in the line, providing many years of service under normal use. Conforms to U.S. Mil. Spec. MIL-R-24050C. White with red and blue tracers.
