Reverse Y-Adapter Full Description
Reverse Y-Adapter The Reverse “Y” adapter has two male plugs with special power isolation circuitry for added safety. When one plug is connected to a receptacle, the circuitry isolates the second plug. The Reverse “Y” 167RY provides 50A 125/250V power when only 30A 125V receptacles are available. The Reverse “Y” 168RY provides 100A 125/250V power when only 50A 125/250V receptacles are available. (Note: will NOT work with 125V, 3-wire inlets.) Power is provided in both circuits to the 4-wire inlet, but the dockside receptacles limit the current in each circuit to 30 amps (167RY) or 50A (168RY). The two female receptacles must be supplied from a single power source providing from 208V to 250V between them for proper operation. Locking Female Connector w/ Sealing Collar System, attaches to cordset or Boat inlet Locking Male Connector attaches to dockside receptacle or cordset Equipped with covers and sealing collars, for use in wet locations Note: See Marinco How To section for Shore Power Adapter connector/plug tables
