You'll use your Boat longer into cool weather, and earlier in the spring. It's a forced hot air heater, with non-sparking elements and fan. A thermostat turns the heater on at 45 degrees F., and off when the compartment reaches 55 degrees. Heavy 16 gauge aluminum cover is powder-coated for corrosion resistance. Runs on 120 volt AC, and cost 6-8 cents and hour to run (depending on local utility rates).
